Answers for procurement, supply and partnership.

Answers to the questions procurement teams, distributors and partners ask most. Full technical, regulatory and commercial documentation is available to qualified buyers on request.

Product & application

What the product is, and how it is used.

A biodegradable, neem-based botanical concentrate for professional pest management, described in plain and verifiable terms.

BEDO Africa supplies a biodegradable, neem-based (Azadirachta indica) botanical insecticide concentrate for professional and commercial use. The formulation is plant-derived and helps control common insect pests. It ships as a concentrate that the end user dilutes with clean water before application. It is intended strictly for B2B use across agriculture, food processing, institutional and pest-control settings.

The product is a concentrate that is diluted with clean water before use. As a general guide, working dilutions fall between roughly 1:100 to 1:400 depending on the crop, facility and pest pressure, so one litre of concentrate makes a large volume of finished spray solution. The recommended working strength for a specific application is confirmed in the technical documentation provided to qualified buyers on request. We do not publish precise ratios or formulation details.

Yes. The product is biodegradable, breaks down into harmless components after use, and is formulated to leave low residue. That makes it suitable for settings where residue and environmental persistence are a concern, including certain export-oriented and food-related operations. Residue confidence for a specific crop or facility should be assessed against the relevant tolerances, and supporting documentation is available on request.

The product relies on a botanical mode of action derived from neem. Instead of a single synthetic chemical pathway, botanical actives of this kind interfere with insect feeding and development. This helps control target pests and helps slow the development of pest resistance over repeated use. The product is intended as part of an integrated approach to pest management. We describe the mode of action cautiously and do not make eradication or absolute-efficacy claims.

The product is suitable for many professional settings, including coffee and tea production, commercial farms and horticulture, food processing and warehousing, and institutional facilities such as hotels, hospitals and schools. Licensed pest-control operators use it as well. For a particular crop, pest or facility, confirm suitability with our team. We can match the recommendation to your operating conditions and any applicable local requirements. See our Applications page for the full picture.

Yes. BEDO Africa's concentrate is intended for professional and commercial use. Organisations and trained operators buy and apply it, and it is not meant for casual domestic use. Handling, dilution and application should follow the guidance in the technical documentation and any applicable local regulations.

Ordering & supply

Formats, volumes and how orders move.

Supplied in commercial bulk formats for procurement teams, distributors and importers across Kenya and East Africa.

The product is supplied as a concentrate in bulk formats sized for commercial and institutional buyers: drums, IBC containers and full-container shipments, plus bulk concentrate for private-label and OEM programmes. We work with each buyer to confirm the format and packaging that best fit their volume, logistics and storage arrangements.

As a B2B supplier we work to commercial order volumes rather than single-unit sales. Minimum order quantities depend on the packaging format, the destination and whether the order is standard supply or a private-label programme. We confirm the applicable minimum and volume during enquiry, once we understand your intended use and delivery arrangements.

Lead times depend on the order volume, packaging format, destination and any documentation or private-label requirements. We confirm an indicative schedule for your specific order at the point of enquiry, and we align production and shipping with the buyer's procurement or tender deadlines wherever possible. We do not quote fixed timelines in the abstract, because they vary by order.

The product is distributed across Kenya and East Africa, and it is supplied in export-ready bulk formats including full-container shipments. We coordinate delivery and export documentation to suit the destination and the buyer's preferred terms, and we help with the paperwork required for import and clearance. Specific shipping terms and responsibilities are agreed as part of each supply arrangement.

No. BEDO Africa operates strictly on a business-to-business basis. We supply governments and tender procurement, NGOs, commercial farms and producers, food processing, warehouses, institutions, pest-control operators, distributors, importers and private-label partners. We do not sell to consumers or offer single-unit retail sales. If you represent an organisation, the next step is to request product information.

Regulatory & compliance

Registration, documentation and standards.

Registered for legal sale and documented for procurement, with certificates provided to qualified buyers on request.

Yes. The product is registered with the Kenya Pest Control Products Board (PCPB). That registration is a standard prerequisite for legal sale and for eligibility in Kenyan public procurement. The company has previously supplied county-level government procurement in Kenya. Registration details and the documentation commonly required in tender submissions are available to qualified buyers on request. See our Government & Tenders page for more.

For qualified buyers we can provide the documentation usually required for procurement and compliance, including a Certificate of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Certificate of Origin, and label and technical data sheet (TDS) material. Documentation is provided on request and matched to the buyer's registration, tender or import requirements. Read more on our Manufacturing & Quality page, or browse Resources & Downloads.

The product is biodegradable and formulated to leave low residue. That supports its use on crops destined for markets with residue tolerances, including certain export crops. Because maximum residue level (MRL) requirements vary by destination market and crop, residue suitability should be confirmed for your specific case. We can supply the supporting documentation needed to make that assessment on request.

The product is manufactured in Germany, currently in Düsseldorf, and then distributed across Kenya and East Africa. What matters is the production standard more than the location. Manufacturing is managed to keep quality consistent across supply. Further detail is set out on our Manufacturing & Quality page.

Distribution & private label

Partnering, territory and support.

How distribution and private-label programmes are structured for partners building the product into their own market.

Yes. We offer private-label, white-label and OEM supply, and provide the concentrate in bulk for partners who market under their own brand. Programme terms, packaging, labelling and documentation are agreed on a per-partner basis. Private-label programmes are subject to minimum volumes and to the same quality and compliance standards as our standard supply. See our Distributors & White Label page for details.

Distribution territory is agreed on a case-by-case basis. We weigh the partner's market coverage, capacity and existing channels across Kenya and East Africa. An arrangement may be defined regional coverage or broader distribution, and it is set out in the distribution agreement. We discuss territory expectations early in the onboarding conversation.

Onboarding begins with an enquiry and a review of your market focus and capacity. From there we agree on volumes, territory, documentation and commercial terms, provide the product and compliance materials qualified partners need, and formalise the arrangement in a distribution agreement. We keep the process simple and move at the pace of your procurement or market-entry plans. You can start via our Distributors & White Label page or apply to become a distributor.

Qualified distributors and partners receive product and technical documentation, guidance on dilution and application for their target crops and facilities, and the compliance materials commonly required for registration, tender and import processes. We work alongside partners on their pipeline and give them the information they need to represent the product accurately in their market.
